Reviewing CC and also went on field trip to Bibb County to Brierfield camp ground.  The girls were able to see the original furnace and hike through the woods while camping. We had a great time !

This was an off week for CC so we used it to our advantage.  The girls worked hard on map tracing and reviewing all information.

Also had a field trip to Orr Park. The girls had so much fun and they were able to learn many things about the trees and the carvings in the trees. They went with Nana Reed and Papa so it was definitely fun!!

Math is also progressing.  E is dividing fractions, P is doing multiplication and G is subtracting.  Very proud of them!

Finally finished reviewing all of CC too for summer.
Bible story is always great! We have great discussions after each reading.
Along with PT and learning about the body, this week was packed full!!!

We had our official last week of CC meeting.  We have one more review day and then our end of year program.  Girls have done extremely well.  E decided not to test due to her getting behind from her surgery.  She still memorized over 250 facts of information. P and G did great too!

E had her Faces of History program.  She did amazing!!! Read her 5 paragraph paper in front of the crowd, while dressed as Matilda of Flanders.  So precious!

We continued with our Story Bible for devotions and girls are still writing Philippians.

Started week 19 of CC. Also girls are reading so well!! Each one is reading more fluently and understanding what they are reading. Math is going well too.  P is almost done with Beta.  That is so amazing to me.  She can add and subtract on same page with multiple numbers involved.  It has been a long road but so rewarding to witness first hand.  Blessed to be her teacher!!!

Reviewed week 15 and got ready for week 16 of CC.  Girls did math, reading, handwriting, Bible, English / Phonics.
We also had our first winter storm of 2014!! Girls were able to play in the snow and have a lot of fun sledding.  We had to end CC early but were able to review the new information.  E is having to start working on her paper and Faces of History paper also.  Worked on EEL task sheets and charts.

Decided I would do one week at a time now that we are condensing in Classical Conversations and working on material for one week at a time.  We also do reading, math, English / Phonics, handwriting and scripture each day.  E is working on EEL and IEW for English Grammar and writing papers.  P is doing Rod and Staff along with Language Lessons 2, and G is doing Saxon Phonics 2.   I am choosing scripture passages each week for them to write correctly for handwriting.  They do typing lessons 3 times a week through Typing Instructor on the computer.  We are using IXL online 3 times weekly to supplement the Math U See they do.  This is working well for us.
